Weekend Outlook 5/4/2018

With the great change in the weather angling has significantly improved over the course of the last few days. There has been reports of steady hatches of quills, hendos, olives and caddis. Yesterday we had several fish caught on dry flies on the west, east and main stem. We have had great success on our Quill knockdown patterns. Wade fishing is still proving to be technical on the Delaware. With the east branch flowing at around 900 at Harvard and the west flowing at 2060 at hale eddy access points may be tough to find.

We are very optimistic for this weekend. We are expecting on and off rain showers which can set us up for some great fishing. If you are in the area be sure to stop by the shop to check out which flies we are having the most success on.

If you want to get out and fish the Hendrickson hatch in high water give us a call to book a drift boat trip. We have a few openings this week. We are also now booking trips for the remainder of the spring and summer at this time. Call 607-290-4022 to set up a trip.
