Upper Delaware Fly Fishing Report

We are still stuck in what is hopefully our last stretch of winter weather. Over the last few days snow and below freezing temperatures have curtailed trout fishing for all but the most die hard and crazy anglers.

This morning we warmed up a bit and we are currently getting some steady rainfall. By this evening we could see as much as an inch of rainfall. This combined with the 8" to 12" of snow in the mountains should get the river gauges moving upwards and provide a nice refresh to the system.

The weather is forecast to get warmer at the start of next week. It looks like our days will get back to more seasonable temperatures in the 50"s.

In the event that the rivers get high and off color we may see some opportunity to target Big Browns on streamer flies. I will keep you posted on the developing conditions.

Our guides have a few openings for next week. If you would like to get out for a float trip give us a call today. 607-290-4022
