Upper Delaware Fly Fishing Report

Late yesterday some rainfall moved into the region. The rainfall was light but it was steady enough to give all of our local rivers a quick refresh.

This morning all of our rivers are about 50 to 75 CFS. higher than yesterday. There is some very mild turbidity in the Beamoc water.

The rainfall brought with it some much cooler weather which is great for the river environment. Hopefully this rainy overcast weather will stay around for a few days.

Our guests are still doing great most every day. Below is a nice Brown taken this week with Guide Stefan. This Brown Trout fish is a real hog!

In the coming days anglers should expect to have a lot of opportunity in the Upper Delaware River System. There is lots of wadable water and the Trout are active.

At this time my top choices are still the Upper East, West Branch and Upper Main Stem. This is where the best cold water is and thus the most reliable insect hatches.

This coming weekend there is a lot happening in Roscoe. Those who have not been here in a while should check out the new town center and beer garden. Our town now has a great downtown stage and there is live music and events on weekends.

This coming weekend there is also a nice Fly Casting Event planned by the Roscoe Campsite Park.

Below is the press release for this event.
