This week has brought the Upper Delaware region nothing but rain. Since Tuesday there has been some form of rain, sleet or wet snow falling. At times the rainfall has been heavy.

Over this span a large amount of our snow pack has melted off. This accelerated snow melt is clearly shown in the stream flow table above.

Last night steady rainfall put all of our local rivers back on the rise.. There is currently little water that is suitable for wade fishing.

Despite the poor fishing conditions there is still al lot happening in Roscoe,

Tomorrow is the Traditional first cast. This will occur at both Junction Pool and at the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum. Tomorrow night is the Annual Two Headed Trout Dinner at the Rockland House. There are also activities planned throughout the weekend both at the museum and in town.

We have some openings for streamer fishing trips on Sunday and early next week. If you want to get out for a day on the water give us a call in the fly shop. 607-290-4022
