Fishing Report Update

Today we went from winter to spring in 1 day. Afternoon air temperatures reached 60 degrees for a while.

Today's heat finally got our snow melt started. It did not take long for most of the tributaries to start running heavy. By late afternoon the Willowemoc, Beaverkill and East Branch started to rise. All three rivers should continue to rise through the night since we are not forecast to drop below freezing.

At this time turbidity is entering the main rivers from many sources. We can expect to have some heavily turbid water for as long as the melt continues.

As soon as the rivers rise to floatable levels we will begin to offer Streamer Fishing float trips.
