Big Game Hunting

For the 2009 season we have several hunt options planned for our guests. Our big game hunts are conducted on the thousands of acres of Local State Forest as well as on some smaller private and leased parcels. We limit our bookings to 6 hunters per week to insure personal attention throughout your stay with us.

Upland Bird Hunting

Our upland hunts are on the thousands of wild acres that are within minutes of our lodge in Roscoe. These hunts are for wild birds!  Over the last few years our Grouse populations have been on the rise and our guides pursue them daily. All of our guided bird hunts are over well trained pointing dogs.

Lodging for Hunters

Lodging for Hunters – The thousands of acres of public land that surround the Roscoe area are home to a variety of big and small game. Baxter House has several lodging packages available for hunters in every season.

During Turkey and Bow Seasons – Hunters may reserve rooms at our regular rates on a first come first serve system.

Big Game Rifle Season- During rifle season we offer lodging on a per night / per person basis. 

Opening Week - $ 60.00 per person, per night.

remainder of Rifle season- $50.00 per person, per night.

Late Bow / Muzzleloader- $45.00 per person, per night
